Critical Ops prepares tomorrow’s leaders by equipping them with the skills to be agile, independent, and forward-thinking in professional environments. Interns receive the opportunity to work alongside the Critical Ops staff to conduct research and share insights on human and technology interactions. As an extension of our all-start team, interns are challenged and encouraged to prove their potential by self-regulating and managing projects to completion.
Majors & Areas of Study
We offer internship programs to eligible graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in an approved college or university during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students in our programs have majored in:
- Business Administration
- Peace and Conflict Studies
- Data Analytics
- Industrial and Organizational Psychology
- Digital Forensics
- Homeland Security
- Emergency Management
Critical Ops proudly supports the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity (CEHC). Through CEHC, Critical Ops facilitates capstone courses to further research, gather perspectives, and prepare our next generation’s professionals. Under the direction of an accredited professor and approved curriculum, students tackle risk mitigation topics such as social engineering, blockchain, connected health, advanced mobility, workplace trust, and remote working environments. These projects have led to direct hiring and internship opportunities. Click here for more information on the courses. Update
